On June 4, 2009, while riding my mountain bike across the bluffs in Cambria, CA, a huge explosion of water occured not far off the coast line.
Without positive identification, I’m somewhat safe in assuming it was the arrival of our humpback whales. It was a glorious display of ocean frolicking with slaps, belly flops and all kinds of aerial to water display.
